Behind the Name

This blog is titled: Relearning.

Learn: to gain or acquire knowledge of or skill in something by study, experience, or being taught.
Relearn: to learn again

With learning comes the opportunity to embrace ignorance. When ignorance is accepted and appreciated, discovery can happen. In my work right now I am relearning the alphabet and discovering the shared relationships between our people world and the world of typography. This they do not teach in Kindergarten. In relearning the alphabet I am beginning to see them as people. People that can unite to communicate something greater or they can create a typographical mess. There are enough parallels between between the two worlds that cause me to believe there may be some truth in the way the alphabet operates. Truth that could be carried over to the people world. ||

The title may also serve as a disclaimer from time to time.
